The New York Giants filled their biggest need by signing wide receiver Kenny Golladay. Here, we fill out the rest of their roster in this 7-round mock draft

One of the biggest free agents on the market this offseason was wide receiver Kenny Golladay. Listed at 6-4 and 216 pounds, Golladay developed into a true No. 1 wide receiver for the Detroit Lions and now, he will be bringing his talent to New Jersey as a member of the New York Giants.

Signing Golladay was huge for the Giants since they were in desperate need of a top-tier wide receiver. Not only will he help quarterback Daniel Jones improve, but it will take a lot of pressure off the shoulders of Saquon Barkley who is recovering from knee injury that cost him the majority of the 2020 season.

Not only that, but the addition of Golladay will have an impact on how New York approaches the draft. Without a dire need on offense now, they can re-tool their defense as they look to become contenders in the NFC East once again in 2021.

With all that being said, we dive into a seven-round mock draft for the New York Giants.

With the No. 11 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Giants snatch up Azeez Ojulari out of Georgia. Ojulari would be a welcome addition to a team that can use an explosive edge rusher.

While Ojulari has the talent to play either with his hand in the dirt or in a stand-up role, he has more experience in the two-point stance which is something he can continue to do in New York.

Ojulari broke out in 2020 with 9.5 sacks but his star might have lost some shine with a workout that was good — but didn’t wow anyone. His explosiveness on tape should be enough to keep him in the first round and the Giants make him a very early pick here.
