2021 NFL Mock Draft, post-free agency: Browns land Micah Parsons, Falcons shock with Kyle Pitts
By Randy Gurzi
The Tennessee Titans tried to replace Jack Conklin with a first-round pick last season and it seemed like a smart move. Conklin took a massive contract with the Cleveland Browns and while he was worth every penny, the Titans simply didn’t have the money to give him — since they already had to pay their quarterback and were trying to extend Derrick Henry.
Their selection was Isaiah Wilson out of Georgia who had his critics but still had enough talent to be a very good player in the NFL. The problem is, he never seemed to have his head in the game. He appeared on one contest with the Titans and general manager Jon Robinson then called him out for not wanting to do what he needed in order to play the game.
Wilson took to social media to say he was done with the Titans and not long after that, he was traded to the Miami Dolphins for a mere swap of seventh-round picks. Wilson made it three days in Miami which proved Robinson right.
All that is being said to point out that the Titans still need a new right tackle and they go for one in the draft again, this time taking Christian Darrisaw from West Virginia. Darrisaw is one of the top O-line talents in the draft and should be what they hoped Wilson would.
