2021 NFL mock draft after major trades: Picks 17-20

17. Las Vegas Raiders: Teven Jenkins, OT, Oklahoma State

The Raiders have been an anomaly so far. They’ve moved on from multiple starters along the offensive line and their only splash additions were an edge rusher and a backup running back. Go figure? Adding a swing player like Jenkins should go a long way to help fill the gaps.

18. Miami Dolphins: Najee Harris, RB, Alabama

Modern roster-building would say that this is too high to draft a running back. However, Miami looks to be committed to building a dynamic offense around Tua. Harris gives them a running back who can do it all. He runs with power between the tackles and runs with grace when bouncing it outside. Plus, it seems as though being from Alabama is now a prerequisite in Miami’s front office.

19. Washington Football Team: Mac Jones, QB, Alabama

Washington had a sneaky good free agency landing solid players at quarterback, wide receiver and cornerback. Now they add a quarterback to develop. And who better to be the bridge quarterback than Ryan Fitzpatrick. Jones is a savvy talent with great accuracy but his ability to process the field like a MacBook Pro may be his best asset. I really like the direction this franchise is going in and could see Jones having a solid NFL career.

TRADE – 20. Atlanta Falcons (via Bears): Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia

An atrocious defense has been holding back one of the league’s most dynamic offenses for years. New general manager Terry Fontenot has to make defense a priority. Azeez Ojulari offers incredible burst from the edge. He’s a polished and NFL-ready prospect who should be an immediate contributor to a retooling defense — and he makes the short trip from Athens to Atlanta to boot.
