2021 NFL mock draft after major trades: Picks 21-24

21. Indianapolis Colts: Kwity Paye, EDGE, Michigan

GM Chris Ballard is committed to building a team that wins in the trenches. While offensive tackle is a greater need here, Paye is the best value on the board. He’s a three-down edge player with a nonstop motor. Opposing offenses will have to account for him.

TRADE – 22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (via Titans): Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson

The defending Super Bowl champs have great depth across the roster. With Miami surprisingly taking Harris, Tampa Bay is pressured to move up for Etienne. This is a luxury pick but one that could unleash the full potential of an already dangerous offense. As the old saying goes, the rich just get richer.

23. New York Jets (via Seahawks): Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech

Farley slides a bit in this draft due to health concerns after going through a procedure to clean up a herniated disc in his back. Being able to add a cornerback of Farley’s talent will speed up the building of Robert Saleh’s defense as the Virginia Tech product has arguably the highest ceiling of any corner in this class.

TRADE – 24. Green Bay Packers (via Steelers): Rondale Moore, WR, Purdue

The Packers atone for last year’s draft sins and move up several spots to give Aaron Rodgers another weapon in the receiving game. Moore is insanely fast and is a twitchy playmaker in the mold of hyper-Randall Cobb. Best suited to play the slot, Moore can punish teams who overcommit to covering Davante Adams.
