2021 NFL mock draft after major trades: Picks 25-28

25. Jacksonville Jaguars (via Rams): Gregory Rousseau, EDGE, Miami

With plenty of offensive playmakers likely to be available in the second round, Jacksonville adds another pass rusher. Pairing the long, rangy Rousseau with Josh Allen gives the Jaguars a formidable duo on their front line. There is a risk with the Miami product given the short time he starred in college but his potential is sky-high.

26. Cleveland Browns: Jayson Oweh, EDGE, Penn State

Oweh is a bit raw but is an unbelievably explosive athlete. He opened eyes during an amazing pro-day performance that included running the 40-yard dash in the 4.3s. Oweh’s mission opposite of Myles Garrett will be simple: seek and destroy. He has the physical tools to do so but will require coaching to develop his pass-rushing skills.

27. Baltimore Ravens: Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota

The Ravens desperately need a possession receiver that Lamar Jackson can rely on when plays break down. Signing Sammy Watkins doesn’t fully answer the problem. Fortunately for them, Bateman is exactly that. Sure-handed, reliable and consistent; exactly what the doctor ordered for the inconsistent Baltimore offense.

28. New Orleans Saints: Christian Barmore, DT, Alabama

The “cap-strained” Saints opted to move on from both Sheldon Rankins and Malcolm Brown in the offseason. Barmore will bring a disruptive interior presence that the former linemen did not. He has developed quickly throughout his time with the Crimson Tide and should continue to get even more dangerous moving forward.
