2021 NFL mock draft after major trades: Picks 29-32

TRADE – 29. Pittsburgh Steelers (via Packers): Landon Dickerson, C, Alabama

It’s no secret that the Steelers offensive line will look very different than last year. However, they re-signed Zach Banner to play left tackle and will be comfortable with Chukwuma Okorafor manning the right tackle spot. Adding Landon Dickerson gives them a gritty center to anchor the line and adds the most NFL-ready interior lineman to a unit that needs to re-establish dominance.

30. Buffalo Bills: Gregory Newsome II, CB, Northwestern

If either of the top two running backs, Harris and Etienne, last until pick No. 30, then I believe that’s the route the Bills would go. Moreover, you can’t completely rule out the possibility that they consider North Carolina running back Javonte Williams with this pick. But Newsome just may be too good to pass up here with his tape and athleticism.

31. Kansas City Chiefs: Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas

The Chiefs lost the Super Bowl because they could not stop the pass rush and because they refused to alter their approach. As a result, they released both starting tackles and invested heavily in guard, signing Joe Thuney and the recently unretired guard/tackle Kyle Long. Drafting an offensive lineman here seems like a lock and Cosmi is an athletic tackle who would fit right into the offense.

TRADE – 32. Tennessee Titans (via Buccaneers): Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU

The Titans said goodbye to three starters in their secondary. Moehrig is a fantastic center fielder who is also big enough to support the run. He will add instant energy to their revamped secondary while also displaying the physical, tough mentality that Tennessee is clearly putting a lot of stock into at this point.
