Tyus Bowser, LB (Baltimore Ravens)

Grade: A

The Ravens kept one of their promising young players in Tyus Bowser after he signed a four-year, $22-million deal this offseason. Bowser was a second round pick in 2017 and has been a depth player for the Ravens, playing in 63 games but starting just two over that span.

Bowser’s role expanded in 2020, playing in a career high 51 percent of the team’s defensive snaps and he responded with three interceptions, two sacks, 14 QB hits, and 34 tackles. Bringing him back also fills the need at outside linebacker that was created with the departures of Yannick Ngakoue and Matt Judon in free agency.

The only potential downside is if Bowser is not able to live up to the promise that he showed in 2020 but they have plenty of reasons to believe that he can be an impact player for them on defense.

The Ravens have developed several other young defensive players and they believe they can do the same with Bowser as they increase his role from part-time player to full-time starter.
