Kyle Pitts is almost a lock to be a top-10 pick in the 2021 NFL Draft but which teams would make the most sense for the playmaking Florida tight end?

Congratulations, the 2021 NFL Draft is almost here! All the mock drafting and praying for your team to select a certain player will come to a close in less than four short weeks. With the heart of NFL free agency in the books, all the focus is now on which players could be coming to your team’s roster by way of the draft.

One player your team may want to target: Florida tight end Kyle Pitts. Scratch that — Florida offensive weapon Kyle Pitts.

At just 20 years old and in his massive, freakish frame, Pitts should not be able to do the things he does. Hence my comparisons for him: Ezekiel Elliott (speed), Calvin Johnson (size), Spider-Man (hands) and a pterodactyl (wingspan).

His Pro Day last Wednesday only solidified his Cyborg-like skillset that should have teams foaming at the mouth. It also essentially guaranteed his spot within the first few picks of the draft — and we know there are rarely guarantees in the NFL Draft.

While there are undoubtedly more than a handful of teams who would love to acquire Pitts’ services, I could really only see three teams ending up with the uber-talented pass catcher on draft night.

Pitts’ range is seemingly set barring trades. I’d be shocked to see him fall past No. 6. Outside of the three teams that would be the ideal landing spots, some other fits I like (though they aren’t as realistic of landing spots):

  • Panthers at No. 8
  • Eagles at No. 12
  • Chargers at No. 13

Now, onto the three most likely landing spots for the all-world pass-catcher.
