The San Francisco 49ers shook up the draft order, which ends with them taking Mac Jones in this three-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft

Things got interesting recently in the 2021 NFL Draft as the Miami Dolphins decided it was time to start making some moves.

First, they traded from No. 3 — the pick they originally obtained from the Houston Texans — down to No. 12. With the San Francisco 49ers now owning the third pick, Miami was in their spot but they weren’t happy with that.

Within the hour, the Dolphins traded back up to No. 6 in a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles. So now that the order is set (again) we take the time to predict how things could look with this three-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft.,

Clemson. Trevor Lawrence. 52. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. 1. player

This pick has not changed and should not. The Jacksonville Jaguars are in desperate need of a franchise quarterback and that’s what they land in Trevor Lawrence. He has everything from the size (6-foot-6 and 220-pounds) to the arm strength and most importantly, the smarts.

Lawrence can already read a defense better than many pros and is arguably the most ready-to-play quarterback since Andrew Luck back in 2012.

Jacksonville is in the midst of some big change with Urban Meyer taking over as the head coach. He’s had success wherever he’s gone but this will be his first foray into the NFL.

Meyer will need to prove his style can work in the NFL and while other collegiate coaches have failed, Meyer would have a huge advantage should he be able to turn his offense over to a legit franchise quarterback.
