TE. Kyle Pitts. 31. Scouting Report. player. Pick Analysis. Florida. 11

Does this feel late for Kyle Pitts? Yes. And there’s a serious chance the Dallas Cowboys could take him one pick before the New York Giants are on the clock. But since Dallas avoided defense last draft and took CeeDee Lamb, the Giants absolutely luck out as Pitts is there for the taking.

An absolute freak of an athlete, Pitts showed off his skills recently at the team’s Pro Day. He measured in at 6-6 and 245 pounds and proved to have a sensational wingspan. If the measurements weren’t enough to impress, he then showed off his blazing speed.

Pitts ran his 40-yard dash in an impressive 4.44 seconds. There have been some who say he has “heavy feet” but that just became laughable when watching him glide through the drill.

For the Giants, this selection would be putting a bow on top of an already solid offseason. They signed Kenny Golladay to give them a true No. 1 receiver and also added John Ross. While Ross never lived up to his hype, he has blistering speed and can be a problem, especially if teams focus too much on Golladay and Pitts.

New York also brought in veteran Kyle Rudolph, which will give Pitts a great mentor to learn from. Of course, this would mean they would be likely giving up on Evan Engram but this is a move you have to make at this point.
