Scouting Report. WR. 52. Pick Analysis. LSU. Terrace Marshall, Jr.. 25. player

(Pick via Los Angeles Rams): After landing Trevor Lawrence with the No. 1 overall pick in this 2021 NFL Mock Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars are back on the clock with their second pick in this round. This one comes from their move to send Jalen Ramsey to the Los Angeles Rams, and it’s their second first-round pick from that deal.

In 2020, they landed LSU defensive end K’Lavon Chaisson with their pick from Los Angeles, and with this selection, they go back to LSU. However, they now go with an offensive player, landing wide receiver Terrace Marshall, Jr.

Marshall was considered “the other guy” for much of his LSU career as he was overshadowed in 2019 by Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase. Then when Jefferson went pro and Chase opted out of the 2020 campaign, Marshall got a chance to shine.

He proved that he can be a No. 1 target and has the size, speed, and route tree to be successful in the pros.

In seven games this past season, he had 48 receptions for 731 yards and 10 touchdowns. He doesn’t have to be the go-to guy out of the gates for the Jaguars but he has the talent to develop into that player. The main thing is that Jacksonville is giving him enough weapons to make it in the NFL.
