2021 NFL Mock Draft: 49ers land Mac Jones, Kyle Pitts falls to Giants

It’s probably a good thing that the Green Bay Packers drafted Jordan Love in 2020 because Aaron Rodgers could decide to leave the team and take on a new profession. Recently, Rodgers worked as the guest host on Jeopardy and he was given rave reviews for his work in the role – and even handled a question about how the team’s most recent playoff stretch ended with great humor.
Clearly, that’s all in jest as Rodgers isn’t going anywhere yet but he did still make plenty of people happy with how he did on the game show. That’s unsurprising given the charisma he has always shown.
As for the team themselves, there are several areas they need to address which include wide receiver and the offensive line. Had the right wideout fallen to them here, they might have pulled the trigger but instead, they go with the higher value and take Samuel Cosmi from Texas.
Far too many times last season, the line broke down on Rodgers and while he’s one of the best in the game on the run, you can’t allow that to be the basis for your offense. Adding Cosmi helps him to feel more comfortable in the pocket — but they still need to find more weapons later on in this draft as well.
