2021 NFL Mock Draft: 49ers land Mac Jones, Kyle Pitts falls to Giants

Losing John Brown could hurt the Buffalo Bills offense but they did a good job of replacing him with Emmanuel Sanders. The veteran wideout will work nicely with Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley but he doesn’t exactly have many years left in him. For that reason, the Bills grab someone here that can be worked into their offense in 2021 and replace Sanders in 2022.
Kadarius Toney is an explosive player who didn’t really have a defined position with Florida until his final season. Once they placed him at wide receiver full-time, he blossomed into a first-round talent.
For Buffalo, he would give them one more weapon for their offense to take the next step. We all saw how much the addition of Stefon Diggs changed everything for them as Josh Allen went from a young quarterback with a lot of questions about his game to a legitimate MVP candidate.
Adding Toney might feel like overkill for this offense but with Sanders recently turning 34 and Cole Beasley set to turn 32 in April, it’s not a bad idea at all to have some youth developing behind them.
And while it’s true they can use some help on defense, the Bills elect to go with the best player available here and it will end up looking like a smart move once Toney starts to turn in the highlight reel plays.
