2021 NFL Mock Draft: 49ers land Mac Jones, Kyle Pitts falls to Giants
By Randy Gurzi
81. Miami Dolphins: Andre Cisco, S, Syracuse
Andre Cisco suffered through some injuries but if he can stay on the field, he might end up being one of the best safeties in this class. A win for Miami, who already has a stout secondary.
82. Washington Football Team: Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford
Paulson Adebo could have boosted his stock had he played in 2020. Opting out means there are still looming questions about his game, but he still showed enough to be a day two pick.
83. Chicago Bears: Quinn Meinerz, IOL, Wisconsin-Whitewater
A small-school kid who is really starting to turn heads, the Bears snatch up Quinn Meinerz at 83.
84. Philadelphia Eagles (via Indianapolis Colts): Chazz Surratt, LB, North Carolina
Philadelphia lands a solid linebacker here with a background as a quarterback in Chazz Surratt from North Carolina.
85. Tennessee Titans: Nico Collins, WR, Michigan
He won’t outright replace Corey Davis but Nico Collins is a sure-handed receiver who could potentially take some snaps opposite A.J. Brown.
86. New York Jets (via Seattle Seahawks): Kenneth Gainwell, RB, Memphis
Improving the running game in New York is a must. Kenneth Gainwell can aid in this effort.
87. Pittsburgh Steelers: Spencer Brown, OT, Northern Iowa
Offensive tackle will be a need in Pittsburgh and Spencer Brown is a big man who could develop into a starter.
88. Detroit Lions (via Los Angeles Rams): Tylan Wallace, WR, Oklahoma State
There’s nothing Tylan Wallace does that’s exceptional but there’s also nothing he does poorly. He’s simply just a solid receiver and the Lions need that.
89. Cleveland Browns: Quincy Roche, EDGE, Miami
There was a time when Quincy Roche looked to be a day one pick. He didn’t blow up in Miami as expected but the Browns give him a soft landing spot where he could develop into a solid pass-rusher.
90. Minnesota Vikings (via Baltimore Ravens): Ar’Darius Washington, S, TCU
Anthony Harris is gone so the Vikings need some help in the secondary. Ar’Darius Washington could be a good replacement.
91. Cleveland Browns (via New Orleans Saints) Jay Tufele, IDL, USC
Sheldon Richardson and Malik Jackson will both be 31 years old this season. Cleveland needs a younger option to turn to in 2021 which leads to the selection of Jay Tufele from USC.
92. Green Bay Packers: Keith Taylor, Jr., CB, Washington
Kevin King is back, but the Packers still need depth — and a possible replacement if he melts down again. Enter Keith Taylor, Jr. from Washington.
93. Buffalo Bills: Marlon Tuipulotu, IDL, USC
He falls behind Tufele, but it could really be switched. Either way, both USC guys are solid players to build depth with.
94. Kansas City Chiefs: Deonte Brown, IOL, Alabama
More offensive linemen in Kansas City? Why not? Kyle Long already retired once, so they need someone to groom behind him and Deonte Brown is a solid choice for that job.
95. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jamar Johnson, S, Indiana
Jamar Johnson had a solid career for Indiana and can add some depth to an already impressive Tampa Bay secondary.
