Dallas Cowboys pick No. 75 overall: Janarius Robinson, EDGE, Florida State

Aldon Smith appears to be on the way out, which is rather shocking. Dallas didn’t want to trade him last season when teams inquired but now, they also seem willing to let him walk. While it’s understandable they want to get more snaps for Randy Gregory and Bradlee Anae, they still could use a little more depth.

That’s why they pick up Janarius Robinson with the 75th pick in this mock. Robinson is well built at 6-foot-5 and 266-pounds. He also has great length and powerful hands that he often wins one on one battles with.

He’s strong against the run and could develop into a starting-caliber player one day.

Dallas Cowboys pick No. 100 overall (Comp Pick): Andre Cisco, S, Syracuse

Orange . Andre Cisco. 3. player. 827. . S

With the first of several compensatory picks Dallas earned by re-signing pretty much no one in 2020, the Cowboys bring in Syracuse safety Andre Cisco. A player with a ton of splash plays (13 picks and 14 pass defenses), Cisco also had his share of blown coverages and tackling.

On top of that, he missed some time with an injury last season which apparently is a concern for some scouts. In the end, that serves to give the Cowboys an opportunity to take a player who has an incredibly high ceiling at a position of need.

Even with Damontae Kazee signed, Dallas needs more depth at safety and Cisco could provide that now — and if he gets the rest of his game cleaned up, he can be a star down the road.
