4. DE Adrian Clayborn (Released by Cleveland Browns)

It’s been basically 10 years since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers made him the 20th overall selection in the NFL draft. Defensive end Adrian Clayborn has not put up electrifying numbers in terms of sacks in 10 seasons but he has managed to land on teams that have reached the playoffs four of the past five years.

He was a member of the Falcons when the club reached Super Bowl LI (although he was on injured reserve) and won a ring with the Patriots in LIII. Clayborn has totaled just 40 sacks and 11 forced fumbles in 125 regular-season contests. And six of those QB traps and a pair of forced fumbles came in one game vs. the Cowboys in 2017. Still, he could add veteran depth.

3. C Daniel Kilgore (Kansas City Chiefs)

There was a change at the pivot for the Ravens last November. Matt Skura was sat down after a poor prime time performance in a loss to the Patriots and versatile Patrick Mekari would be the primary center for the team for the rest of the season and in the playoffs. Meanwhile, Skura has now moved on and signed a deal with the Miami Dolphins.

Meanwhile, John Harbaugh’s club could use some proven depth at the pivot. Daniel Gilgore spent his first seven NFL campaigns with the 49ers, was dealt to Miami in 2018 and landed with the Chiefs this past year. And the 10-year pro spent four seasons with Ravens’ offensive coordinator Greg Roman in San Francisco from 2011-14.
