Pick Analysis. Texas. 27. player. 44. Scouting Report. OT. Samuel Cosmi

Trade: Falcons send No. 47 and 182 with 2022 third-round pick to Ravens for No. 27 overall – Atlanta traded down from the No. 4 pick but, since they acquired a nice bit of extra draft capital, they’re comfortable now making an aggressive move back up into the first round to get a player who can help them try to maximize the offense while Matt Ryan is still in the building as their line has been lackluster.

Samuel Cosmi would help that in a big way. He’s a good athlete and that’s obvious watching him move out on the edge within his college tape. There is some need for technical refinement but putting Cosmi in at right tackle and moving Kaleb McGary into a more natural fit at guard would give the Falcons the best iteration of the offensive line that they’d have seen in some time.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. Dillon Radunz. player. North Dakota State. 28. 46

(Pick via Saints) – Trading down in the NFL Draft and Colts general manager Chris Ballard are a pair better suited for one another than wine and cheese. He’s always out to maximize value in every avenue possible. So even though the Colts have a big need at left tackle with the retirement of Anthony Castonzo, they’re comfortable moving down with the aggressive Saints and taking Dillon Radunz.

Though he played at the FCS level, Radunz showcased a high level of athleticism and strength on film. He was dominant as you’d want him to be against that competition. He does have room to add some functional strength and weight on his frame but he’s ready to play right now with upside to get even better. He may not have the most potential but his fit in Indianapolis’ offensive line seems natural with his mauler’s mentality.
