CB. Georgia. Eric Stokes. 31. player. Pick Analysis. 35. Scouting Report

(Pick via Chiefs) – Shockingly, Tennessee was one of the teams that we saw make a ton of roster cuts this offseason. They clearly want to try and reshape their defense and the mentality of it. But in doing so, they also now need more picks to fill holes, which is why they are happy to trade down twice. And if they can still land a player of Eric Stokes’ caliber after doing so, that’s even better for the Titans.

Stokes shocked the NFL Draft world with the most jaw-dropping 40-yard dash time of the offseason. Even if slightly inflated, he’s clearly juiced up and able to make plays on the outside with his athleticism. He needs to trust his gifts more and develop a more natural feel for his coverage responsibilities but his upside is obvious to be a No. 1 cornerback for the long haul in Nashville.

Scouting Report. IOL. Landon Dickerson. player. 51. Pick Analysis. Alabama. 32

Trade: Rams trade No. 57 and 141, 2022 third-round pick, and 2023 fourth-round pick to Buccaneers for No. 32 overall – We end this massive run of trades with one more big one. The Rams have proven they don’t care about first-round picks but also that they are immensely aggressive in trying to win now. So while they are hoping adding Matthew Stafford will put them in the Super Bowl mix, they move up to No. 32 to fill a huge hole at center with Austin Blythe now gone.

Landon Dickerson is the best interior offensive lineman in the class and it shows up on tape. He’s a leader, he’s a phenomenal playmaker and he can start Day 1 confidently if healthy. The issue is the injuries as he suffered multiple season-ending ailments at Alabama. The Rams continue their risk-taking, though, with a monster swing at Dickerson to keep Stafford upright and the offense humming.
