22. Tennessee Titans: Caleb Farley, CB, Virginia Tech
There was a time where Caleb Farley seemed to be a lock in the top-15 or higher. The Virginia Tech product was one of the best corners in this class and possesses great size for the position. His tape from 2019 also showed a player who was on top of his game, which is impressive considering he’s still new to the position.
A former wide receiver, Farley took to cornerback naturally and the expectation is that he will only improve as a player. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to see any development in 2020 since he opted out of the season but he was still on the radar to go early. But then, an injury muddied the waters for him.
Farley hurt his back while working out but he should be good to go for training camp. Still, some teams will be scared off since it was a back injury but that plays into the hands of the Tennessee Titans who have a major need at the position.
Tennessee moved on from Malcolm Butler and Adoree Jackson in the same offseason. They now need to replace both those players and while Farley can only fill one spot, he does at least give them a potential No. 1 cornerback with a very high ceiling.
