Pick Analysis. Chris Rumph II. 4. Scouting Report. Edge. Duke. player. 825

During the 2018 season, Denver was in great shape with their pass-rushers as Von Miller was in his prime with young Shaq Barrett and Bradley Chubb in the building. Things have changed since then, though. Barrett is gone, age and injuries have caught up to Miller, and Chubb hasn’t lived up to his first-round draft hype. Thus, it wouldn’t hurt to add another pass-rusher.

Chris Rumph II is one of the most talented and refined pass-rushers in the 2021 NFL Draft. He has some of the best hand usage of any player at the position, though he’s on the small side. That means he gets moved too easily too often. Because of that, he likely won’t be an instant-impact player — but he has the skills to develop as he puts on muscle.

Other Players Considered: Cameron Sample, Kendrick Green, Kary Vincent

808. Pick Analysis. USC. Olaijah Griffin. 7. player. Scouting Report. Cornerback

Bryce Callahan was the only quality cornerback on the Broncos roster coming into the offseason but things have since changed. They have bolstered that defensive back room in a major way to where it’s not a need in any case. However, they could still use some young fliers to try and help the long-term outlook of the depth chart.

Olaijah Griffin is definitely tiny. He comes in at just 6-0 and 175 pounds. And that lack of size clearly affects him when he goes up against bigger wide receivers, which is troubling when you consider his leap to the NFL. However, his great footwork and feel for the position should make him a fit and developmental player in Vic Fangio’s defense.

Other Players Considered: D.J. Daniel, Javian Hawkins, Darren Hall
