Whether it’s trading up or down, if teams want to get better they should mimic the Dolphins, Eagles, and 49ers by getting aggressive in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Time is ticking, and before we know it, the Jacksonville Jaguars will soon be on the clock of the 2021 NFL Draft. Trevor Lawrence is a foregone conclusion to go No. 1. However, what happens after him is up in the air. We know one thing, this draft will be the most interesting in recent memory.

As a matter of fact, a blockbuster trade went down weeks before the 2021 NFL Draft. We saw the 49ers move from No. 12 to the No. 3 spot by trading away future picks to the Miami Dolphins. It’s obvious John Lynch and Kyle Shanahan want control over who their future franchise quarterback is.

The Fins weren’t done though, the immediately traded back up to the No. 6 spot with the Eagles. The question is, which prospect do they think will be there at No. 6 they couldn’t get at 12? The Dolphins, Eagles, and 49ers won’t be the only teams moving up and down the draft board. NFL draft trades will go down.

There are some trades that make way too much sense not happen.

4. Chicago Bears trade Anthony Miller

General manager Ryan Pace has the Chicago Bears are in a weird position. Unfortunately, they have a ton of holes, and they’ll create another once they trade away Anthony Miller. Predicting NFL draft trades isn’t always predicated on what a team should do. The Bears don’t have the type of team that could afford to trade away anyone. Yet, here we are. The Bears have been trying to rid themselves of Miller since last season, to no avail.

With that said, the Bears could collect an additional third-round pick for Miller. If there’s a run on wideouts for a team desperate for a vet. Miller, to the right team, is a solid addition. For the Bears, they’ll get more draft capital on a team void of talent and an aging defense. With Andy Dalton at quarterback, the Bears should draft an offensive lineman at No. 20.

However, with Miller being traded, taking a wideout here makes sense as well. They could use the extra pick for Miller to take a quarterback like Kellen Mond or Kyle Trask. Both guys will be available on Day 3 or later and make for excellent developmental prospects. Grabbing a quarterback, offensive line help, and a wideout within the first three rounds must happen for the Bears.
