27. Baltimore Ravens: Jayson Oweh, EDGE, Penn State

Up next in this 2021 NFL Mock Draft is the Baltimore Ravens. For the past couple of offseasons, the Ravens have seen some of their best players leave in free agency. They said goodbye to Za’Darius Smith, C. J. Mosely, and now Matt Judon — who signed with the New England Patriots in free agency.

Each time a player has left, they’ve had someone in line ready to take their place. Not only has their skill in drafting and developing players kept them competitive year after year, but they’re also never in any kind of cap trouble — which is rare for any team in the NFL. But that also explains why they have remained competitive for so long.

Here, they continue to stock the shelves with talent as they replace Judon with Jayson Oweh out of Penn State. Oweh is an intriguing prospect who had five sacks in 2019 but none in 2020. Still, he possesses some freakish athleticism and is built for playing on the edge at -foot-5 and 257-pounds (with impressive 34.5-inch arms).

He has all the tools that cannot be taught and if a solid coaching staff — which Baltimore has — can get him to fine-tune everything else, this kid could be special.
