29. Green Bay Packers: Kadarius Toney, WR, Florida

Last season, the Green Bay Packers shocked us all by taking Jordan Love. This season, they do what we all expected in 2020 as they take a wide receiver with their first pick.

At No. 29, Green Bay lands Florida’s Kadarius Toney who is an exceptional athlete. He’s also a player still learning the position but once Florida put him at receiver full-time, he ended up taking his play to the next level.

His prospects as a pro are incredible and Jordan Reid of The Draft Network talks up Toney’s electric play while also saying he has to be accounted for, even if it’s simply by putting him in motion to keep the defenders guessing.

"“Toney is an electric slot receiver who’s continued to improve every season in Gainesville. He is much more satisfying than his size indicates because he’s electric with or without the ball in his grasp. His ceiling as a route-runner is a bit limited, but he was highly effective with the package that he was asked to run. Toney’s presence is always felt whether or not he has the ball, as he makes defenses account for him even if he’s strictly a motion player.” — Reid, The Draft Network"

Aaron Rodgers has been asking for more help for a while now and adding Toney finally gives him the weapons he needs in order to get back to the Super Bowl.
