5. Cincinnati Bengals: Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU

Recently, the Cincinnati Bengals unveiled their new uniform for the 2021 season and they looked pretty sharp. They stayed true to their style but cleaned up a lot of the gaudy stripes and the result is great.

Doing so ahead of 2021 could be good timing since they feel like a team trending in the right direction. This is due to one player — Joe Burrow. The 2020 No. 1 overall pick proved last season that he’s the answer for them but unfortunately was lost to a torn ACL which cut his debut season short. Justin Herbert ran away with the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, but Burrow would have been in the mix.

With him set to return, Cincinnati seems like a team that could improve this year — but they need to add help around him. One option at No. 5 would be to pick up more offensive linemen to keep him safe in the pocket. While that would make sense, it seems like an even better move to reunite him with Ja’Marr Chase who was one of his favorite targets at LSU.

Chase opted out of the 2020 campaign but already proved that he’s the best receiver in this class. Adding him to a receiving corps that already includes Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd would give Burrow more than enough weapons to take his next step this coming season.
