New York Jets: Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami

Once again, the New York Jets are changing things out. They moved on from Adam Gase — who never should have been hired after what he did to ruin things with their AFC East rivals, the Miami Dolphins — and chose Robert Saleh as their next coach. This time, however, it feels like things will be different.

The former San Francisco 49ers defensive coordinator exudes confidence and has always had immense respect from his players. He’s also been able to add some serious talent this offseason with the signing of wide receiver Corey Davis and edge rusher Carl Lawson.

On top of that, they have the No. 2 overall pick which will be used on quarterback Zach Wilson — unless they decide to call an audible at the last minute. They also have a second pick in the first round an early day two pick.

With one of those two selections, they should seriously consider adding more help at defensive end but after that, they should also look for a tight end to their offense. The best fit for them would be Miami’s Brevin Jordan who would give them a player capable of picking up chunks of yardage in the middle of the field. He would also allow Wilson to have a security blanket, which is always a huge plus for a young quarterback.
