Baltimore Ravens: Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota

Once again, the Baltimore Ravens found themselves struggling to find a legit No. 1 wide receiver during the 2020 season. Second-year player Marquise Brown did take a step forward and was solid with 769 yards and eight touchdowns on 58 receptions, but he still had some games where he would disappear.

In free agency, they signed Sammy Watkins but he’s more of a deep threat than a No. 1 wideout and had just 421 yards and two touchdowns last season for Kansas City. This means they still need to find someone who can make the tough catches on the boundary to help quarterback Lamar Jackson take his next step as a player.

With all that being said, there’s one prospect who would fit like a glove in Baltimore — Rashod Bateman. The Minnesota product is a smooth route-runner with amazing hands. He can win on all three levels and isn’t lacking in the confidence department at all.

Bateman also offers up the size teams love to have on the outside. Listed at 6-1 and 190 pounds, he looks the part of a prototypical No. 1 wideout.

In addition to what he can do as a player, he would take a ton of pressure off Brown — who could excel more when teams aren’t focused on him as the top target.
