The final (and only) 2021 NFL mock draft from Zach Cohen features two more big trades into the top 10 for quarterbacks and much more.

Do you hear that sound? That’s the sound of the NFL Draft approaching at warp speed. Honestly, I was worried I wouldn’t even get here. And by here, I mean releasing my one and only full first round 2021 NFL mock draft with in-depth analysis and speculation.

This year has been so crazy I wondered if I’d even have time to put out a fully written mock draft in the first place. But it’s here. And you’ll hate it.

Before you indulge in the creamy mock draft goodness I have whipped up for you, I implore you to read beyond your team’s selection. You’ll get more info and speculation by looking at what I had to say about each pick. There were a few selections where I couldn’t decide who to choose, so I just flipped a coin. (Kidding, sort of.)

And with the amount of intel at an all-time low due to the lack of in-person events, I tried my best to play the guessing game. It’s not fun. I’d rather send a round or two on Jeopardy!  If you do choose to peruse this 2021 NFL mock draft in its entirety, you’ll get the following:

  • More than 7,000 words on the entire first round
  • At least 32 alternative picks that I can see happening
  • Countless intel and insight into every team’s selection
  • Too many bad jokes

Don’t worry, I’ll inject some opinion and gut feeling into this, but for the most part, it’s based on what I’m hearing. Last year’s mock draft did fairly well. According to FantasyPros’ mock draft accuracy rankings, I would’ve finished 29th, just behind established veterans (and all-around good dudes) Daniel Jeremiah and Matt Miller.

My goal is to predict what I think could happen, not necessarily what should happen. So don’t yell at me about your team’s pick (looking at you, 49ers fans). Actually, I don’t mind it. You can find me on all social media @ZachCohenFB. With those very shameless plugs out of the way, I’ll take No-Brainers for 200, Alex.

Zach Cohen’s singular 2021 NFL mock draft: Trades rule the top 10

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Clemson. 52. QB. Trevor Lawrence. 2. player

“Why waste time, say lot word when few word do trick?” – Kevin Malone, The Office

Alternative Picks: None

Zach Wilson. Pick Analysis. QB. BYU. 2. player. 30. Scouting Report

I’d like to apologize for the corny quote in the pick above. I feel like all other cheesy one-liners have been taken, but I promise full-fledged analysis on all of the following picks. Not this one, though. It would be a total stunner if this pick was anything other than Wilson, especially after the team shipped Sam Darnold off to Carolina. Next, please.

Alternative Picks: None
