Scouting Report. Michigan. Kwity Paye. 11. 31. Pick Analysis. EDGE. player

I am so torn with this pick. It feels like my mind is being dragged in 12 different directions. The names buzzing inside my head: Paye, Jaycee Horn, Micah Parsons, DeVonta Smith. Let’s start with the latter.

Dave Gettleman’s track record with drafting WRs is… interesting. It leads me to believe Gettleman will only take one if he absolutely loves a prospect, which, per Peter King in his Football Morning in America column, is not a wide receiver. Rather, it’s Micah Parsons. And apparently, Joe Judge loves Smith? And members in the organization love Horn? Sheesh.

If true, someone get me some cameras in Giants HQ, I have to see that drama unfold. In the end, I’m sticking with my gut and going Paye. I feel like he’ll go a bit earlier than most people anticipate, so here’s my chance to predict it. I wouldn’t put it past New York with selecting any of those players, though. Jaelan Phillips could easily slide into those names I just mentioned, too.

Also, Gettleman should entertain something he’s never done before: Trade down.

Alternative picks: Micah Parsons, Rashawn Slater, Jaycee Horn, Jaelan Phillips
