54. Scouting Report. Jaycee Horn. South Carolina. 12. player. Pick Analysis. CB

If Jaycee Horn is here, I think he’s the pick for the Philadelphia Eagles. I feel like they’d be drooling over Horn, especially with no clear starting cornerback on the roster opposite Darius Slay. I’m also not so sure they like DeVonta Smith, especially after taking Jalen Reagor in round one last year and with the depth in this year’s receiver class.

I’m very tempted to take Rashawn Slater to plug a hole on the offensive line. I think an edge rusher could go here if the Giants pass on one, too.

I’ll stick with Horn for now, simply because it makes sense. I think Howie Roseman will look to bolster the receiver room, as he should. I think he’ll also consider adding trench play early as well.

Two things to add: Don’t be surprised if Horn is a top-10 pick, and definitely don’t be surprised if the Eagles move up to make him that top-10 pick.

Alternative picks: Rashawn Slater, trade up, Kwity Paye
