Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Alabama. Christian Barmore. player. IDL. 17. 28

I could say this for a few teams, but I have no clue what the Raiders are doing. I think if any selection is to come out of left field, it’s this one. Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock have been known to throw curveballs before.

With that said, I think it comes down to these players: Teven Jenkins, Micah Parsons (if he’s there), Christian Barmore and Jamin Davis. It’s sad because I’m slotting what appears to be the most obvious pick. Because it won’t be.

No, you know what. I’m changing the pick as I write this. I’m making this Barmore. I was going to put Jenkins because he would fill a massive need at right tackle and has been a popular pick to Las Vegas. But Barmore also fills a need and has been rumored to be very high on certain team’s draft boards.

I can easily see Gruden and Mayock falling in love with his upside, too. Honestly, I feel as good about this pick as I do about hitting a black 13 on roulette. Anything can happen when the Raiders are on the clock.

Alternative picks: Teven Jenkins, Micah Parsons, Jamin Davis
