2021 NFL Mock Draft: Bears trade into top 10 in Cohen’s final prediction
By Zach Cohen
After the Teddy Bridgewater trade, I’m more confident than ever about this projection, even though I’m never that confident about my mock drafts. If the Bears stayed here, they may be dancing around the room as they submit a card for Christian Darrisaw. Although, I’m not too sure he even falls considering he could be taken at No. 13 or No. 14.
They could also eye some offensive line help, and eventually, some new pass catchers. I doubt they’d address the receiver room here, though. With Denver picking at No. 20 in this totally accurate mock draft, I think they eye an linebacker. Jamin Davis’ name is begging to be typed into this selection. However, he was just picked. Funny how that works.
While I think the Broncos will look to upgrade at the position, I’m not sure what value is left at the position. Zaven Collins and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah could take a tumble down and potentially out of the first round. Therefore, I settle on Teven Jenkins to replace Ju’Wuan James.
I’m more so doing this because I think this could be around where Jenkins is actually picked. Instead of mocking the team fit, consider this a number fit. It’s almost similar to my March Madness strategy of slotting teams in the range I think they go, rather than slotting based on their matchups.
Oh, you came here for football stuff? My bad.
Alternative picks: Chicago still moves up or takes Christian Darrisaw, Rashod Bateman, Liam Eichenberg
