Scouting Report. Alabama. Najee Harris. 24. player. 55. Pick Analysis. RB

Look what you made me do. I picked a running back in the first round, and to a team I’ve repeatedly said I don’t think will take him. (Seriously, search @ZachCohenFB and “Najee” on Twitter. It could be its own movie.) So what changed?

Even though I’ve also been saying Harris just seems like a Steeler, it now appears to be the trendy pick. Excuse me for following the crowd. I just don’t know who else to slot here.

For the longest time, I’ve had this pick be a lineman or a corner. Alex Leatherwood has been gaining first-round steam lately, though some teams likely view him as an interior guy.

For the record, I’m going against my gut by making this selection because I have no clue which lineman to choose. I’m sure Kevin Colbert would salivate over Greg Newsome, but he seems like the clubhouse leader for CB3. Colbert also seems to really like drafting linebackers, for what it’s worth.

Alternative picks: Greg Newsome II, Alex Leatherwood, Samuel Cosmi
