LB/S. Notre Dame. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. 26. 53

Andrew Berry is not thrilled to see Christian Barmore drafted already. I think it’s a real possibility if he’s available. In all likelihood, Cleveland settles for the best defender on the board, and I use “settles” very loosely.

Zaven Collins is tempting, but there’s really just one player I’m considering here: Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. The reason? I have zero idea where he goes. He’s such a wild card. Some teams view him as a linebacker, some view him as a safety. I say just plop him on the field and have him do whatever you need.

The Browns — yes, those Browns — have that luxury. I may not be completely sold on this pick, but I just can’t find a better slot for him. I guess a cornerback could happen here, I just can’t see Cleveland valuing any enough unless Newsome falls, which I don’t think happens.

Alternative picks: Christian Barmore, Kwity Paye
