2021 Fantasy Football Rookie WR7: Elijah Moore
Elijah Moore (5-9, 178 pounds) is one of the fastest, most elusive players in a draft class blessed with more speed than any other in recent memory. The Ole Miss slot specialist played second fiddle to A.J. Brown and DK Metcalf in recent years, but shined in the spotlight in 2020: in only eight games, he caught an astonishing 84.3 percent of his 102 targets (12.75 per game), solidifying his position as one of the top receivers available in the 2021 NFL Draft.
One of my top prospects in the class is easily Elijah Moore. Posted a 95th percentile success rate vs. man coverage (79.8%) in #ReceptionPerception. Absurd separator. On the Lockett/Baldwin-axis. Just love this player.

While he lacks ideal height, Moore is a polished receiver with tremendous burst and a whole lot of wiggle. A strong case could be made to rank the Biletnikoff Award finalist as high as number five in this year’s deep wide receiver class; Moore is the player most likely to rise up our rankings after accumulating draft capital later this week.
While it’s fair to worry how Moore will fare against the taller, more physical cornerbacks he’ll see every week in the NFL, we’re confident in his ability to gain separation from the slot position and create havoc for opposing defenses in the middle of the field. Moore is relatively immune to landing spot concerns compared to many fellow wide receivers in this class; we don’t expect him to last beyond the early part of Round 2 in this week’s NFL Draft.
