NFL Draft: Redrafting the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft 24. Cory Littleton

Originally undrafted

The Cincinnati Bengals originally selected William Jackson III with their first-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Like many other players that have been recently talked about on this list, Jackson simply didn’t turn out to be a good NFL Player. He wasn’t terrible, but he faded into the shadows of the NFL in fast order.

That said, there wasn’t an excessive amount of cornerbacks in this draft, so they’d likely look elsewhere in a redraft situation.

A major area that was a nagging issue for them was depth at the linebacker spot. The team didn’t really need a linebacker, but Cory Littleton’s undeniable talent is obvious. He originally went undrafted, but wouldn’t let that faze him, as he’d have a strong career with the Los Angeles Rams. He even reached a Pro Bowl in 2018.

Littleton would be a strong fit on a team that always tries to maintain talent at the linebacker spot in Cincinnati.

The Bengals were not planning on taking a linebacker in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, but if they had the chance to pick up Cory Littleton, they’d be stupid not to capitalize.
