Dallas Cowboys: Day 2 and 3 mock draft after taking Micah Parsons

Round 4, Pick 138: Sadarius Hutcherson, IOL, South Carolina
Dallas had a ton of injuries on the offensive line last season and while their offensive tackles made the headlines as La’el Collins missed all 16 games and Tyron Smith missed 14, they weren’t much healthier inside.
Tyler Biadasz suffered an injury and even the always-dependable Zach Martin missed time which was surprising. Now, they find themselves needing to add some depth here as well since Connor McGovern is the only reserve that they can trust.
This leads to them using their second pick in Round 4 on South Carolina’s Sadarius Hutcherson. A powerful blocker, the 320-pound Hutcherson needs to become more consistent but he could be a great value pick at No. 138.
Round 5, Pick 179: Jaelon Darden, WR, North Texas
With Amari Cooper, Michael Gallup, CeeDee Lamb, and Cedrick Wilson at wide receiver, it seems this is an area the Cowboys can skip on in the 2021 NFL Draft. But that doesn’t mean they have to — especially if a player who can line up all over the field slides to them.
That’s what happened here as Jaelon Darden from North Texas is still on the clock at No. 179. Darden is a slippery player who rarely gets tackled by the first defender. He’s a slot receiver but can line up in the backfield and has also been a star in the return game.
