Round 5, Pick 179: Simi Fehoko, WR, Stanford

It might not seem as though the Cowboys have a need at wide receiver, but they do. Michael Gallup is entering the final year of his contract and there’s no way they can afford to play him and Amari Cooper — meaning one will be gone in 2022.

Thankfully, they will be fine thanks to the presence of CeeDee Lamb but they will need a new No. 3 option. Rather than waiting for the cupboard to be bare as they did in 2018, they decided to get a developmental player at No. 179 in Simi Fehoko from Stanford.

Fehoko is a big target at 6-foot-4 and 227-pounds but he’s not just a big body. He’s also fast as he impressed with his 4.43 speed in the 40-yard dash. He can play special teams as a rookie and has a lot to like about his future.

Round 6, Pick 192: Quinton Bohanna

If you’re gonna draft a nose tackle, Day 3 is when you do it. Quinton Bohanna is a prototypical nose who stands 6-foot-4 and 327-pounds. He’s another player who feels like a bit of a reach as he’s rather inexperienced with just 58 career tackles in 35 career games.

He fills a need since there was no real backup behind Antwaun Woods but it seemed as though there were some superior options out there.
