Tennessee Titans 2021 NFL Draft Grades: Rounds 4-6

Round 4 (No. 135 via Green Bay): EDGE Rashad Weaver, Pittsburgh: B-

I like the value that the Titans got by taking Weaver in the fourth round. He was a force for the Panthers off the edge in 2020, picking up 7.5 sacks in nine games. The Titans pass rush was among the worst in the NFL in 2020 and they struggled getting off the field on third down because of it.

They added Bud Dupree and Denico Autry to help in that department. Bringing in Weaver gives them depth and a solid rotation on the edge.

Round 6 (No. 205): WR Racey McMath, LSU: C-

McMath suffered from being surrounded by a ton of top-notch receiving talent at LSU, which only allowed him to get so many targets. Again, I felt like there were better receiving options on the board here for the Titans.

Austin Watkins out of UAB and South Dakota State’s Cade Johnson both would have been better selections here. McMath will be a special teams contributor and give the Titans a depth receiver, but there were better options at the time of the pick.

Round 6 (No. 215 via Kansas City): S Brady Breeze, Oregon: C+

Breeze is a guy that will give the Titans depth at the safety position. He has solid coverage skills and is a strong run defender when he plays up and runs downhill.

He’ll be a solid contributor on special teams and could earn a spot in the defensive back rotation later on in the season.
