The Dallas Cowboys attacked their needs in the 2021 NFL Draft and now they enter the season with several players on the bubble

There were some seriously mixed reviews when it came to the Dallas Cowboys 2021 NFL Draft class. Some were shocked that the team went for a linebacker early on whereas others were just frustrated at the continued lack of attention being paid to the safety position.

What we can’t debate, is that they went out of their way to try and add defensive talent to a roster that was in desperate need of a makeover on that side of the ball.

They also put players such as Leighton Vander Esch and Jaylon Smith on notice with the selections of Micah Parsons and Jabril Cox. And while those two might not be in danger of losing their jobs this season, there are several players who might be.

Here, we look at three such players as we identify three Dallas Cowboys on the bubble entering the 2021 season.

3. Cedrick Wilson, Wide Receiver

After missing his entire rookie season, Cedrick Wilson has spent the past two years primarily working on special teams for Dallas. However, in 2020, he started to break through as a pass-catcher.

In Week 3, he had 107 yards and two touchdowns on five receptions against the Seattle Seahawks. He then had seven more catches for 56 yards over the next two weeks but then disappeared when Dak Prescott was injured.

Now, Wilson is set to come back in 2021 and hoped for a renewed connection with No. 4. But that became much more difficult when the Cowboys used the 179th pick on Stanford wideout Simi Fehoko.

Listed at 6-4 and 227 pounds, Fehoko is an intriguing prospect who could have a bright future in Big D. He could also make it hard on someone such as Wilson to make the roster.
