Week 9: Green Bay Packers at Kansas City Chiefs

Should Aaron Rodgers be back with Green Bay for the 2021 season, fans with cheese on their melons would like to think that this is a potential Super Bowl preview for this season. Having said that, Kansas City’s revamped offensive line should be hitting their stride by this point and I’m not sure the Green Bay offense, regardless of quarterback, is improved enough to keep pace with the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes.

Week 10: Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers

Having the Seahawks on the schedule always makes things interesting. At their best, we know how dangerous Russell Wilson can be while working with D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett. But they also have a strong tendency to play to the level of their opponent.

Moreover, with Seattle continuing to neglect the offensive line, the Packers pass rush could have a massive impact on this affair. For me, this is close no matter who’s at quarterback but it’s a win for Green Bay at Lambeau Field no matter what.

Week 11: Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings

Minnesota had a strong offseason, even if I didn’t totally understand all of their free agency moves (namely, why they signed Dalvin Tomlinson to a big deal). Regardless, this team should be one of the biggest competitors in the NFC North. That said, I still don’t like their defense enough to think that they could stop Rodgers enough to where Kirk Cousins and Dalvin Cook could match them. If anyone else is at quarterback, though, that’s a different story.
