11. Israel Mukuamu, CB/S

This one could end up being a quality pick. While Nahshon Wright was considered a reach, Israel Mukuamu was actually a great value pick for Dallas. Taken at No. 227 overall, Mukuamu was graded higher than Wright by just about every draft expert.

He was widely considered to be a fourth-or-fifth-round pick, so landing him late in the sixth isn’t a bad move at all. Just like Wright, Mukuamu is incredibly long. He’s listed at 6-4 with 34-inch arms. Unlike Wright, he’s got the build as well, being listed at 212 pounds.

Throughout his career at South Carolina, Mukuamu moved around the field and there’s some talk that he could move to safety for Dallas. He has said he believes he’s a cornerback but would do whatever is needed. Either way, the Cowboys would be wise to get him on the field since he’s great at breaking up the 50-50 ball and has generated his fair share of turnovers.

Mukuamu is a willing tackler in the run game as well making it even more confusing that he fell as far as he did in the draft. The only thing keeping him from being higher on this list is the other cornerback additions. Of course, if they do move him to safety full-time, that would make him even more valuable.
