1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It’s unbelievably rare for a Super Bowl champion to even keep the majority of their roster together after they hoist the Lombardi Trophy. Heck, even Tom Brady and the Patriots saw a ton of turnover that they had to deal with. Yet, Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, fresh off winning a ring in the future Hall-of-Famer’s first year with the team, is basically wholly running it back.

A testament to the culture that general manager Jason Licht, head coach Bruce Arians and Brady have built in Tampa, the Buccaneers are returning every starter from last season while also adding depth via the draft. So not only should they be the contender they already were last year but they could actually be even deeper and better.

But in the interest of getting better, they could be downright unstoppable with Julio Jones. This is undoubtedly the wildest possible landing spot as the Falcons would likely rather go bankrupt because of the wideout’s contract than trade him within the NFC South. However, if they did get that desperate, the Bucs could make it work.

Tampa Bay has only $4.1 million in cap space right now but they could free up roughly $13.5 million with restructures of Mike Evans’ and Ali Marpet’s contracts. Doing that to make a group of Jones, Evans, Chris Godwin and Antonio Brown with Brady would be borderline unfair for the rest of the league. Luckily for the other 31 teams, it’s also so wild that it’s nearly impossible to happen.
