9. Denver Broncos: Kedon Slovis, QB, USC

Another team that will likely regret passing on Fields in the 2021 NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos, are once again back on the clock inside the top ten. Here in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, the Broncos do what they should have done this past year: move on from Drew Lock.

With the ninth pick in the draft, the Broncos land USC standout Kedon Slovis to take over under-center for the future. If they are picking in the top 10, however, Slovis may have to weather a new head coach in Denver as Vic Fangio will certainly not survive another down season. Healing up from a shoulder surgery that bugged him in 2020, Slovis looks to take a massive step forward for the Trojans this upcoming season. If he does, he’ll be a top-10 pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.

10. New York Giants (via Chicago): Andrew Booth, CB, Clemson

For the third straight season, we have two cornerbacks coming off the board in the top-ten of the draft. After Stingley came off the board to the Jets, the other cornerback here also lands in the Big Apple. As the Giants come back on the clock with their second first rounder in the top-ten, they look to land James Bradberry a running mate.

While Stingley is talented and at the top, do not sleep on Andrew Booth to potentially come in and challenge him for the honors as the top cornerback in the class. Booth is silky smooth and possesses elite ball skills from his post at Clemson. Should he put together another dominant season, Booth is bound to land in the top half of the first round. He does just that here as he heads to the Giants.
