11. Washington Football Team: Christian Harris, LB, Alabama

Linebacker in back-to-back years for the Washington Football Team? Short of reaching for a quarterback in the range of Matt Corral, Malik Willis, or Phil Jurkovec, Washington is firmly in position to land best player available. They do just that here in this 2022 NFL Mock Draft, taking Alabama linebacker Christian Harris to pair him with their new toy in Jamin Davis.

The front four of Washington is elite, and everyone knows that. But now they are looking to do what they can to make sure the back part of their defense follows suit. Signing William Jackson, and now drafting both Davis and Harris may give Washington the most well-rounded defense in the league.

12. Las Vegas Raiders: Kaiir Elam, CB, Florida

The fourth cornerback off the board in the top-11 (a year after five went in the first round) the LAs Vegas Raiders lands the uber-talented and long Kaiir Elam. Listed at 6-2 and 193 pounds, Elam’s arms are the size of grapevines, as he provides jams off the line of scrimmage and is disruptive down the field.

As the Raiders have to decide whether or not Damon Arnette and Trayvon Mullen are enough at the cornerback position, they take Elam to give themselves that necessary size and length in their secondary. Besides, dealing with Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert twice per year, added depth in the secondary is a must.
