21. Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars

No, Trevor Lawrence has not yet taken a snap in the NFL but he comes in over several other professional quarterbacks who have already had a lot of success in the league. So how does that happen?

Well, many of the quarterbacks who have already been discussed are trending in the wrong direction whereas Lawrence enters the league with an incredible background. He’s been called the most NFL-ready quarterback since Andrew Luck entered the league in 2012 and it’s hard to find anyone who has predicted anything except wild success for the Clemson product.

For a snapshot of how good Lawrence is, James Palmer pointed out that he has never lost a regular-season game in either high school or college. Sure, it’s bound to happen this season but Lawrence is a winner and the Jaguars finally have a franchise quarterback who everyone can get behind.

At this point, the questions surrounding Jacksonville all center on their head coach, Urban Meyer. A long-time collegiate coach, Meyer has had success at every stop but he’s also often quit due to health concerns and also carries the weight of being another big-name college coach who needs to prove he can make it in the NFL.

Having Lawrence will help him, but the quarterback can’t carry the coach forever.
