Jacksonville Jaguars: Tony Boselli, Offensive Tackle

Since joining the NFL in 1995, the Jacksonville Jaguars have had their share of quality players. However, they have yet to truly have a franchise quarterback. They have found some success at times with Mark Brunell leading them to a winning record four seasons in a row.

The former Green Bay reserve was 63-54 for them and had 25,698 yards passing with 144 touchdowns and 86 picks. To this day, he’s the best quarterback Jacksonville has ever had but they hope that’s changing now that they used the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft on Trevor Lawrence.

Of course, Lawrence won’t be able to do it alone. He’s going to need some talent around him and while the Jags have started to rebuild, they could use a better offensive line. That’s why their returning legend is none other than Tony Boselli, who just so happens to be the first player the team ever drafted.

The 6-foot-7, 324-pound USC product didn’t just live up to his status as the No. 2 overall pick, but he also put up such a sold career that he’s often considered the best player in Jacksonville history. Putting him out there to block Lawrence’s blindside would be a dream come true for the 2021 Jaguars.
