NFL Uniform No. 2: Seattle Seahawks – Silver helmets, blue and green jerseys
Before “Let Russ Cook”, before the neon green, before anything, there was the silver and blue of these classic Seattle Seahawks threads. Worn by the likes of Seattle greats like Steve Largent and Kenny Easley, these helmets and jerseys were clean, simple and gorgeous.
The recipe is simple for Seattle: silver helmets with the same Seahawk logo, kelly green and blue jerseys, and white pants. That’s all that was needed for this winning combo that was a staple in the Pacific Northwest throughout the 1970s, 80s, and early 90s.
With a roster full of receiving talent and a franchise quarterback under center, the Seahawks could easily relive the glory days of the past in arguably some of the best classic uniforms to date. Plus, they would be unmistakable with such an iconic, easily identifiable throwback being worn.
