30 best NFL players to win a Super Bowl with 2 or more teams: 22. Bill Romanowski
Stats:
- 521 tackles
- 39.5 sacks
There were few, if any, who actually like Bill Romanowski. The former two-time Pro Bowler had a tendency to beat up both opposing players and his own teammates. Romanowski would spit on his rivals, break their jaw, cause severe concessions and even in one instance, he ended the career of one of his own teammates.
During a fight that broke out between Romanowski and Marcus Williams, Romanowski forced him to retire after crushing his eye socket. Nevertheless, Romanowski was all about winning. In his first year in the league, he was a part of a 1988 San Francisco 49ers squad that won it all. However, he didn’t play a major role on either that championship team or the one that repeated immediately after. During those back-to-back Super Bowl trips, Romanowski recorded a combined three sacks and no tackles whatsoever.
Romanowski was ultimately much better during the latter part of his career as a member of the Denver Broncos. He once again was a part of a team that won back-to-back titles, placing him on a shortlist of players who won at least four championships.
Romanowski wasn’t an all-time great and quite frankly, was more known for causing trouble than his productivity. Still, he managed to wrap up his career with a ton of suspensions and a pocket full of rings.
