30 best NFL players to win a Super Bowl with 2 or more teams: 19. Adam Timmerman

Every day for 12 straight years, Adam Timmerman did what he always does. He clocked in with his lunch pail and hard hat in hand, practiced hard, played even harder and provided solid results.

By no means was Timmerman a huge difference for the Green Bay Packers or the St. Louis Rams but he wasn’t a liability either. In 1996, he protected the blindside of Brett Favre for the entire season en route to winning the Super Bowl. Not coincidentally, Favre won three straight regular-season MVPs beginning in 1995, the same year Timmerman was drafted.

Once his time in Green Bay was up, Timmerman headed to St. Louis and helped get the squad over the championship hump. Timmerman opened up crater-sized holes for Marshall Faulk to run through and gave Kurt Warner all the time in the world to throw the ball. Much like Favre, Warner began winning MVP once Timmerman arrived, making his importance more than just some fluke. He may have only one Pro Bowl selection to his name but wherever he went, two things happened. His teams won and his quarterbacks played to the best of their abilities.
