30 best NFL players to win a Super Bowl with 2 or more teams: 13. LeSean McCoy

Stats:

  • 11,102 rushing yards
  • 73 TDs

The latter years of LeSean McCoy’s career have been awful. In his first and only season with the Kansas City Chiefs, he only managed to rush for 465 yards. That would’ve been considered a career-low if not for his 31 total yards during the 2020 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In both instances, however, McCoy took home titles at the end of the year. Some would find it difficult labeling him a true champion since he failed to rush for any yards on either championship team.

Still, no matter how many fans would love to rip him apart for his horrific play, when McCoy was in his prime, he was arguably the best back in the league. For six seasons, McCoy rushed for over a thousand yards and led the league once with a career-high 1,607 in 2013. He was a six-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro. His numbers in the playoffs have been horrific though, never eclipsing over 100 yards in any game.

Hearing his name called for the Hall of Fame isn’t exactly out of the realm of possibility. Currently, McCoy’s 11,102 rushing yards rank 22nd all-time and his 73rd rushing touchdowns are good for 28th. He may have a few horrific seasons under his belt but when he was past his prime no one could touch him.
